Please ask about the available options during your quote. Do you stain new windows? Yes we do! We will custom match the stain to match any existing stain you might have in your home. We will also apply a urethane top coat. Are you a member of Angie's List? Yes we are! We hold an "A" rating!! Feel free to check us out! How far are you booked out? That really depends on the time of year. During the summer we are usually booked out 6-7 weeks, Spring and Fall 4-5 weeks and Winter 1-3 weeks. We will work with your schedule. Performing interior work insures that jobs are completed in a timely manner regardless of the weather conditions outside. Is my personal information safe? Absolutely! DaVinci Painting will never share personal information regarding you or your project to anyone at anytime. Do you offer Faux finishing? We offer several faux finishing techniques: Double rolling, sponging & striping. Check out the "Services" page for examples. What times are you available for a quote? We work with your schedule. Mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends! Do I have to pick all the room colors at once? No, We allow you time to choose your colors. It's important to get a feel for each color at night and during the day. Ask for some color tips at the time of your quote. Will you help me choose a color? Yes! Once a quote has been accepted you will have access to a professional Interior Designer at no additional charge! We work exclusively with Martha Ziegler owner of Mazi Staging and design. Depending on the job size we typically ask for 20% down. Approximately 40% 1/2 way, then the balance upon completion and your final inspection. Do I have to be home ? No. You can feel safe knowing your home will remain locked at all times. We will always let you know when we will leave for the day and ask for any special instructions. We are a pet friendly company! What type of finish can I get? Available finishes include: Flat, Satin, Lo-sheen, Egg-shell, Semi-gloss and High gloss. Finish choice does not effect the cost on the quote. All latex paint is water soluble. How long will the painting take? Along with the comprehensive quote, you will receive a detailed explanation of the work to be done as well as the number of days required to complete the painting. Do I have to move all my furniture? We will always help with large/difficult items but let the homeowner move all fragile/expensive items and pictures to a safe location themselves. What other services to you offer? Along with painting we do offer drywall repair, caulking and a few Faux Finishes including "Double Rolling", "Sponging" and "Striping". Will there be left over paint for me to keep? We always leave the remaining wall paint for the customer. Ceiling and white trim paints are standard colors but we will leave some if you request it. Do you have references? Yes. Reference are available upon request. Please take the time to check out any or all past customers. Send us an e-mail and we will drop a copy in the mail for you! How long will the quote take? The quotes are usually completed in a day or two after the estimate. You can choose either E-mail or standard mail to receive the quote. How long does the paint need to dry? Latex paint will dry to the touch in 1-2 hours and will fully cure in 3-4 weeks. Oil based paint will dry to the touch in 7-8 hours and will fully cure in 2-3 weeks. What form of payment is needed? We accept cash, check or money orders only at this time. CC might be coming soon! How do I choose a color? One rule of thumb: Lighter colors will make a room look bigger. Darker colors will make a room look smaller. Do you offer any discounts? Yes we do! We offer a 10% discount for homes that do not have any furniture or boxes in the home. Usually for new construction or recently purchased homes. We also offer a discount to Angie's List members. **Please, only one discount per quote** I have an old paint sample, can I use it? Yes! If you have a color chip from another company, a color from a picture or and old can of paint and you want that color, we will have that color custom matched. Will my job be finished when promised? We never overlap jobs! When we start your project we will finish it before beginning another, guaranteed! We always give a 1 -2 day window of completion. Example: "8 - 10 days". 100% of all our jobs were finished on time or sooner!! Can you install a light & a ceiling fan too? Yes! After we've painted your ceiling we can install a new ceiling fan or light fixture! We also provide basic electrical work: Light switches, outlets etc... We can also move outlets depending on the new location along with the drywall repair. Please ask during your quote and we will tell you what we can do for you. How do I schedule my project? With each quote you will receive tentative a start date based on your time frame and our availability. Once we receive your deposit we will set the date. Can I purchase my own paint? Yes! We will use any paint you choose. Let us know ahead of time and we will adjust the quote accordingly. Can I add a room after you have started painting? Yes! We will gladly give you a quote for the additional painting or repair work. Many of our customers have added a room or the rest of the house to the job after we have started!!
